A huge thanks to our local TD’s Dessie Ellis, Roisin Shortall, and Paul McAuliffe, along with Cllr Alison Gilliland, Cllr Brigid Manton, Cllr Dearbhail Butler, Cllr Daragh Butler, Cllr Caroline Conroy, Cllr Dean Mulligan, and Cllr Patricia Roe all of whom attended our AGM this week. The meeting was supported by members of the Santry Forum committee and volunteers from Santry Tidy Towns. Some members of the community attended too.
The meeting was a great start to the year for Santry Tidy Towns and we had high-level discussions on litter management in the community, Santry River Greenway, Bus Connects, a left filtering traffic light at Santry Ave. / Sword’s Road junction, the new yellow box at the M1 Flyover, Santry Park and a farmers Thanks to all who attended and made contributions on the night. Well done to the newly elected 2022 committee, Linda, Ian, Pauline, Lorraine, and Don. Best of luck with your Tidy Town endeavors. More volunteers are welcome to join at any stage throughout the year and support is available to those who just wish to set up within their own estate.
We also had apologies from Cllr Ann Graves and Cllr Joe Newman who have promised to catch up. We are looking forward to this and to staying connected with all of our elected reps throughout 2022. Onwards and upwards. Market, improved collaboration between local authorities, developing a five-year plan and so much more.
